Supervisor fish processing (Team leader)
Swiss Lachs, a leading company in sustainable salmon production in Switzerland, is looking for a dedicated Fish Processing Supervisor to oversee and coordinate fish processing activities in Lostallo.
The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of fish processing techniques, excellent leadership skills and a clear focus on quality, safety and efficient workflows. Experience in food production, preferably with salmon or seafood, is an advantage. The role requires good knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards, the ability to organise daily operations and the confidence to guide and support a team in a dynamic working environment.
Main responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily fish processing activities
- Ensure correct processing, workmanship and weight recording
- Monitor quality, hygiene and food safety standards
- Organise workflows and support efficient production processes
- Maintain order and cleanliness in the processing area
- Lead and support the team to ensure consistently high quality
Requirements
- Italian or English language skills
- Experience in fish processing, food production or a comparable manual role
- Leadership experience or the ability to guide and motivate a team
- Strong awareness of quality, hygiene and food safety
- Good physical condition and the ability to work independently and efficiently
- Flexibility regarding working hours
- Reliability, accuracy and strong teamwork skills
