Salmon processor (m/f/d)
Swiss Lachs, a leading company in sustainable salmon production in Switzerland, is looking for a dynamic and motivated salmon processing employee in Lostallo.
The ideal candidate is committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety and workflow efficiency. Experience in a similar role in food production, preferably with salmon or seafood, is an advantage. The role requires good knowledge of food safety regulations, the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment, attention to detail, strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team. Physical fitness is also important, as the work involves standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks.
Main responsibilities
- Proper processing and workmanship
- Correct weight recording
- Support in processing activities
- Maintaining order and cleanliness in the shop
- Working with the team to ensure high quality standards
Requirements
- Italian or English language skills
- Completed basic training as a butcher or experience in a comparable manual role
- Good physical condition and the ability to work independently and quickly
- Flexibility regarding working hours
- Strong awareness of quality and hygiene
- Reliability, accuracy and the ability to work in a team
